All of our close protection officers are trained to the highest of standards by Anubis, in accordance with the UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence to practice qualifications.

The following information provides a brief overview of just some of the training services offered by Anubis:

“Anubis was formed in 2005 by three of the current Executive Directors who all possess credible training backgrounds and have proven track-records in the police, armed services and civilian environments. Although the company was created to provide a wide range of security services far beyond just training, it was undoubtedly a key foundation stone driven by a passionate desire to raise standards and skills in the private security industry. That founding desire and drive continues even today, and is best illustrated by the fact that all the company directors are members of various important SIA, University and Skills for Security Boards and Expert Groups. Additionally all Anubis teaching staff possess current operational experience and benefit from high-level civilian training qualifications. The combination of instructor competency gained over many decades in different training environments has helped shape their high-quality training courses with great currency, breadth and depth.

Anubis is an Approved Training Provider for the Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) to deliver Security Industry Authority (SIA) Level 3 CP licence to practice qualifications. The course is also accredited by Skills for Security (SfS) who is the skills and standards setting body for the SIA and the UK security business sector.

The course duration is 23 days and includes a four-day HSE First Aid at Work (FAAW) course qualification specifically for those who are not already FAAW qualified (an SIA requirement for licensing). The CP course incorporates all the SIA Specification for Core Competency Training and Qualifications for Close Protection Operatives and additional skill areas (i.e. CV writing and job-interview practice).

The Certified Security Consultant (CSC) course is a unique management training programme that is accredited by Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), Skills for Security (SfS) and the Institute of Risk Management (IRM). Accreditation by a higher education establishment, the skills and standards setting body for the UK Security Business Sector and the IRM illustrates the advanced level of this professional award. On successful completion of the three core modules, graduates will receive the Level 5 Award and be entitled to place the initials CSC after their names.
